What the fuck is going on in Ireland?
I took statistics to try and swipe my math requirement back in my incompleted UGA days, and admit I didn’t do very well. Perhaps that is the reason I don’t understand sensational headlines such as this. Part of me wishes I’d stuck out the math tedium to have a sold appreciation for astronomy. Ah, the stars - romance and science all in one…
P.S. might look into the ‘researcher’ who came up with the ‘45 notes’ used in the ’study’…just a thought.
ed. note (2/9/07)- this headline changed! It used to say, or perhaps the link that took me to it said, “Cocaine contaminates 100% of Irish notes”. Weird that it’s different, but my other statements don’t make as much sense without knowing this-
welcome. this kind of headline scores everywhere when “Ireland” is in the name. Apparently, Ireland is a safe unadulterated nation where no evil exists. This cocaine statistic actually applies to all western nations, however we all know Britain and America are flush with coke so it doesn’t make a headline.
