Right wing idiots dictate fashion and commercialism

You’ve heard about the controversy over Rachel Ray wearing what appears to be a keffiyeh in an online Dunkin Donuts ad, which has subsequently been dropped? Another example of ignorance and xenophobia against the muslim world.

Even if Ray had been intentionally making a symbolic show of support for the Palestinian cause, would this have been a support of terrorism? What would have happened had she appeared wearing a scarf depicting the Israeli flag?

In the above link, be sure to note under “controversial symbol” how Urban Outfitters last year quit carrying the garment after pressure from pro-Israeli lobbyists. I challenge you to think about the following: is it possible to be anti-Zionist without being anti-semitic? I say the answer is yes, just as it is possible to be an American patriot while opposing American imperialism.

God doesn’t hand out countries or play racial favorites.

I’ve had one of these patterned scarves for years now and started wearing it again after reading about this. (Black and white goes with everything.) Frankly, I’d rather mistakenly advertise for the Palestinian cause than intentionally lend my image to the Dunkin Donuts IT’S OKAY AND EVEN FASHIONABLE TO DRINK A 3000 CALORIE BREAKFAST cause…

Speaking of undercover terrorists, let’s not forget about Barack and Michelle Obama who blatantly displayed their anti-American feelings with their “terrorist fist jab” before his nomination victory speech. Thank you Fox News for bringing that to our attention.

And don’t even get me started on the “baby mama” drama.
