bp and M are in their 4th day in DC, not exactly sure how they scored tickets. But for a first hand account of the chaos, check the bags of wind blog.

    No frickin’ joke…
Quote from a front-page article on “Obamabilia” in today’s AJC Business section:
“You might want to take one of these in there with you,” said a man peddling $5 hanging air fresheners with Obama’s likeness on them to people in a line for porta-potties.
Hey Chi-Li, you think those cross-country no-ticket hustlas from PDX ventured upon this fella out on da’ Nat’l Mall?

I imagine it’s quite exciting to be there, despite some of the hassles.

    Yee-haw!
I’ll try to schedule some time off in early ’13 when She-Palin and the rest of the Kold Kodiak Krew roll into DC to right the ship.
Now get back to work, Chi-Li. Those kids ain’t gonna learn no English if yer sittin’ at your comp-rooter all day and night reading no-hassle blogs from the nation’s capital city during this exciting occasion.

Wow. Nothing quite hushes the guilt-ridden, spoon-fed, bleeding-heart-until-someone-steals-my-shit types than a sarcastic comment or two about the country’s next better-of-two-evils figurehead mouthpiece and/or supporting cast thereof.
Perhaps y’all missed it when reading my first reply that I found absolute humor in the AJC Bidness article referencing one enterprising American realizing an opportunity to make a buck.
Yes. I found it hilarious to read about a dude hawking pieces of soon-to-be landfill (perhaps pine-scented?) of the President’s image to people waiting to relieve themselves in a portable restroom.
Lighten up, ladies. Nobody’s watching now…except maybe My Prezident.

    Cyber-slighted. Oh, well.
Just wondering: Will the imminent loss of those Golden Bush Years’ tax cuts for People Who Don’t Really Have to Work for A Comfortable Living in America negatively impact the International Hoboism and pursuit of Saab Enlightenment of their misguided but well-intentioned offspring? Economics 101: Less money to come for the Casual Sojourner Nation.

Slighted? I thought you were imploding, all over the place, and I’m not really sure what you’re saying through the sarcasm.

Yes, some are cashing in on the ObamaNation, or trying to.

No, he isn’t a Magician who can snap his fingers and make it all OK. Lots of hard work ahead.

But for many, it’s the most exciting civic moment in a lifetime. I’m excited about what change might come, but patient to see it through.

I think Bush’s tax cuts were a proven failure, unless they put off the collapse a few months or days, hours. Unless the goal was actually increasing the deficit.
