It's interesting that you don't dig the 8-11 yr. old age group... Those little shits are my favorites! So rambunctious, but still easy to manipulate with games. Much better than the stone-faced adult crowds- but different strokes... Keep in mind that 28 classroom hours is full-time ANYWHERE, and anything over that you're just pulling lesson material out of your ass. Good practice for you, but your students probably won't get much out of it if you're not prepped. "A good teacher is a rested teacher"... though a slight hangover isn't the end of the world.
